Is there a way to filter recipes by cooking method? During summer I try to limit meals that require using the oven, and would even prefer to filter recipes that use the grill. Could this be a feature for the future? May also be helpful to people with limited cooking apparatus.

Great suggestion! No, there isn’t a way to do this yet, but I absolutely agree that this would be useful. I’ve added this feature request to my backlog.
